The mission of Art for Cats Sake is to support the search for cures for feline diseases and to improve the Health and Welfare of Cats. Toward that purpose the call has gone out for all “Cat People”, especially “Crazy Cat People” to assemble on Saturday, August 25th for the Covington Cat Art and Film Festival in the Fuhrmann Auditorium! We’re reaching out to cat-loving creatives of all ages to come make Art at the Beach! In the spirit of the amazing annual George Town Festival in August (thanks to all at GTF for including us in their programme!), Cat Beach invites artists and creatives of all ages to create —
ART FOR CATS’S SAKE!
The ART FOR CATS’ SAKE PROJECT will run throughout August (and continue all year round as the new SEACATS ART GALLERY) with contests and prizes! Artists are invited to create artworks inspired by Cat Beach – anything / any media as long as somewhere in it there’s a cat!
We hope artists will help beautify the Sanctuary with art that people will want to come see. Just write us at catlovers.my@gmail.com or drop by to register!
If you would like to sell your artworks or handicrafts on commission or donate works to help support the cats, join us in starting up the CAT BEACH “SEACATS ART GALLERY!”

RM 50 makes you a member for a year. Cat Beach Sanctuary including the Cat Cafe and 2nd Chances will be open on weekends (to start) 11 am to 6 pm or by appointment any time.
